Rotary Club Of Lagos West, District 9110 celebrated the District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI on her official visit to the club with her spouse, Francis Akingbade Lawson to the club on Tuesday, August 9, 2022
It was indeed an homecoming for the Koseleri (First Female ) DG as she visited the club with members of her team. The club led by Imaginative President Osita Ogbaji however leveraged on the visit of the DG to reach out to indigent women in the community.
Two sewing machines and five grinding machines were given out to seven indigent women in the community and the event was witnessed by the DG who congratulated her club members and admonished the beneficiaries to make sure the machines serve the purpose they were donated to them which is to enable them make a living through which they can take care of their families.

This empowerment project is almost an annual gesture by the club aimed at providing indigent women in the community economic empowerment through donation of capital tools for them to start a trade.
