Rotary Club of Lagos, on Thursday, May 14, 2020 donated some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Lagos State Government to support the fight against Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).
The items donated by the club include coveralls, isolation gowns, eye goggles, face masks, disposable aprons, disposable caps, elbow gloves, surgical gowns, and surface cleaning sanitizers.
Speaking on the donation, the United President of the club, Abiodun Osiyemi who made the donation alongside other members of his club noted that the PPEs will be used by the health workers who are working tirelessly at the front line, for protection against the virus.
Mr. Olajide Razack who received the items on behalf of the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu appreciated the Rotary club members for showing their support towards the fight against Coronavirus.
Also present at the donation exercise were Rotaractors from the Rotaract Club of Lagos.
