Members of Rotary Club of Iponri, led by the United President, Olalekan Olabode, has offered students of Iponri High School, Iponri in Lagos state, free eye screening.
The free eye screening which was held in the school premises on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 had in participation a large number of students who maximized the rare opportunity presented to them by the club members.
The club provided an optician who carried out the screening on the students and students with eye defects as detected by the screening were given free correctional eye glasses which were also made available in a large quantity by the club.
The District Governor, Dr. Jide Akeredolu who was on an official visit to the club also joined members of the club in the eye screening exercise, alongside the club president and some other members of the club.
Two new members were also inducted into the club by the District Governor.
