Imaginative District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI and her team accompany members of Rotary Club of Festac Town to Spinal Cord Injury Association of Nigeria located in Amuwo, Lagos as the club led by Imaginative President Placid Oluigbo donates food items and toiletries to the occupants of the home.
The Imaginative DG while congratulating the association for the items received from the club, noted that quite a number of Rotary clubs visit the home with donations, but she commended members of Rotary Club of Festac Town for their consistency.
Receiving the donated items, the Chairman of the Association, Mr Friday Onudinjo appreciated the Rotary club on behalf of other members of the association. He revealed that the first water borehole facility in the home was donated by the Rotary Club of Festac Town, adding that the association will never forget that gesture by the club.
He further revealed that after that water borehole donation, the club has been constantly visiting them with donations to ensure they don’t starve.
