Rotary Club of Festac Town, District 9110, on Wednesday, August 5 donated to Amuwo Odofin Primary Health Centre in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos state.
The club donated medical supplies, office equipment, toilet cleaning supplies, beddings, and stationeries to the Centre following the specific request of those items from the management staff of the Centre.
The items were handed over to the Apex Nurse, Obasa Grace by the District Governor, Bola Oyebade who was on his official visit to the club.
The Rotarians thereafter proceeded to Festac Access Road where some trees where planted by the club as part of its contribution towards preserving the ecosystem.
The group then moved to the club's meeting venue where the club awarded scholarships to two indigent but brilliant students of Foresight International School, Festac Town, Lagos.
This is making the sixth scholarship the club will be awarding the two boys- Odumala Mubaraq and Ikechukwu Clinton who had both lost their fathers. The late father of one of the boys used to be a Rotarian of the club before his death.
