The club during the official visit of the Imaginative District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI presented a cheque of N20, 000 as financial grants to the women. This is an annual project of the club through which they reach out to indigent women in the community, supporting them with capital funds for petty trading.
While those who make good use of the funds are further supported the following year, new beneficiaries are also empowered.
Presenting the cheques to the five beneficiaries of this year’s edition of the empowerment scheme on Thursday, January 26, 2023 was the District Governor alongside members of the club.
