The District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI together with Rotarians in the early hours of Thursday, October 13, 2022 commemorated the ‘International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2022’ with traders at Holloway market, Oke-Arin Lagos.
She was welcomed in a grandiose style by Rotarian Chief (Mrs) Abosede Ogundele, the leader and ‘Iyalaje’ of the market and hundreds of market men and women cladded in uniform and colourful white and green outfit.
A power point presentation was made on ‘Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment in a Market Setting’ by Mrs Toyin Oguntola of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment & Water Resources.
This program was facilitated by the District Environment and Planet-earth Committee led by Past President Ishola Ogunshola.
