Imaginative District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI started her official visit to clubs with a visit to Rotary Club of Ikeja led by Imaginative President Akinsiku Olusola on Monday, July 4.
She was accompanied on the visit by members of her team as well as her spouse, Rotarian Francis Lawson.
Also present was the Doyen of Past District Governors, PDG Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi who is also a member of the club.
The DG formally presented a cheque of N500, 000, a revolving micro credit grant to 20 market men and women in Isolo Obada Market, Lagos on behalf of the club. The micro credit scheme is an annual commitment by the club to support the traders.
The club also empowered graduands of the annual vocational skill training organized by the club for NAFOWA. Two sewing machines, a gas cooker and a photocopying machine were also presented to the beneficiaries by the DG on behalf of the club.
