The District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria, Rotarian Dr. Jide Akeredolu, on Monday, July 1, 2019, flagged off the “One Million Dollar Challenge”.
 
This corresponds with the start of a new Rotary year 2019-20, following Akeredolu’s assumption of office as District Governor; a tenure which lasts from July 1, 2019 all through to June 30, 2020.
 
The “One Million Dollar Challenge” is an initiative of DG Akeredolu, an Arch Klumph Society Member of The Rotary Foundation, whose intends to raise $1miilion dollar fund to The Rotary Foundation.
 
 
The challenge is designed as raffle tickets and each ticket costs $5 (N2000). Raffle draws will be hold at the end of the challenge and winners will go home with mouth-watering prizes which includes keke na pep, gas cooker, refrigerator, microwave, standing fan, television set, among other items.
 
The star price- a brand new Nissan Almera car, was glamorously unveiled by the District Governor, alongside the Chairman of the One Million Dollar Committee, Past Assistant Governor Henry Akinyele, at the event.
