The Chancellor of Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota in Ogun State, Bishop (Dr) David Olaniyi Oyedepo has just become a Honorary Rotarian of Rotary International, District 9110.
Dr. Oyedepo was presented with the Rotary membership pin by the Rotary District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI during a courtesy visit to his office by the DG, accompanied by a team of Rotarians and district leaders which include District Governor Nominee, Dr. Wole Kukoyi, along with medical doctors with Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) led by the President, Dr. Chinyere Anyaogu.
The Bishop was thereafter decorated with the pin by his Aide.
The Rotary and ANPA team had earlier on Wednesday, April 26, paid a visit to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Abiodun Adebayo who was instantly inducted into Rotary Club of Ota by the District Governor. Bishop Oyedepo was also presented with the Rotary district bannerette, ‘Imagine Rotary’ theme tie and an “End Polio” cap, as well as some District Governor’s Magazine.
The visit is part of the activities lined up for the period of the free surgical and medical mission organized by Rotary District 9110 in collaboration with ANPA which is expected to hold between Monday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Ace Medicare Clinics, a state of the art hospital that has been released for use by the MD/CEO, Rotarian Dr. Kukoyi. for the period of the mission.
