Basic Education and Literacy Seminar held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022
The seminar, which was called to order by District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI, witnessed the presence of guest speakers including representative of the Chairman, Universal Basic Education Board, Mr Abiola O.; Representative of the Local Government Education Secretary, Mrs Afolabi; the Director, Agency for Mass Literacy, Ogun State, Alhaji Lawal.
The Keynote address was given by Past District Governor, Dr. Deinde Shoga. Also present was the Chairman of the Basic Education and Literacy Committee, PAG Remi Babarinde, District Trainer, PDG Kamoru Omotosho; and Imaginative presidents with the beneficiaries sponsored by their clubs.
Mr Oyediran George Odeyemi a past beneficiary of the district’s adult learning programme, was also present to encourage and motivate the newest beneficiaries with his testimony and journey to success after he participated in the adult learning programme.
