The Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic on Sunday, 26th of September, 2021 became the 4th president of the club.
The installation ceremony which held immediately after the meeting of the board members with the DG had in attendance the district leaders, Change Maker presidents, Rotarians, and guests.
One of the high point of the event was when the Change Maker President who happens to be the first female president of the club got on the stage and announced her personal donation of N1million to the club.
The club also revealed its lined-up projects for the year including its Basic and Education projects which the club plans to extend to other Rotary clubs in the district to also distribute to schools in their various communities. According to Change Maker President Deb Roy, 50 school bags each will be given to clubs in the district that are willing to collaborate with the club on the project.
The club also gave a sum of N1million to the district as support for the District Education and Welfare Endowment Fund (DEWEF)
