History was made again on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 by the Koseleri District Governor, Rotarian Omotunde Olayinka Lawson, FCAI, First Female District Governor (FFDG).
 
 
Mrs. Lawson, the first woman in the history of Rotary International, District 9110 to become a District Governor after 42 years, signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), the first of its kind, with the management of CIG Motors Company Limited. This is in line with the vision of the Imaginative District to develop strategic partnerships with organizations for the benefit of the District and Rotarians.
 
The event which held at the company's headquarters on Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos will see Rotarians, from District 9110, enjoying a five percent rebate on any car bought from the company, Commission of 4% to Rotary District 9110 on every car sold through contact or enquiry from their members or from Rotary as an organization and a Commission of 1% to PolioPlus account.
 
 
Representatives of D9110 present were DG Omotunde Lawson, District Governor Nominees, Wole Kukoyi and Femi Adenekan, Chairman, District Strategic and Start-up committee, PAG Sanjeev Tandon and District Secretary, Azuh Arinze, among others.
 
From CIG (Choice International Group) were Dan Achen, the Chairman, who was decorated by the DG with a Polio Plus and Imagine Rotary pins; Vice Chairman, Ben Ma, CFO, Ralph, GM Commercial, Jubril Arogundade and others.

This is a one year renewable agreement.
The Rotary team, ably led by the DG, was later taken on a tour of the company's facilities.
Commenting on the event, the DG applauded the partnership while she looks forward to both organizations building and expanding on this beautiful relationship which was just formalized.
