District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI has just inaugurated District 9110 Disaster Management Corps, Constituted by District Educational and Welfare Endowment Fund (DEWEF).
Imaginative District Governor Omotunde Lawson on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 added another feather to her koseleri cap by the inauguration of the first District 9110 Disaster Management Corps which will currently be led by the Chief Commandant, Past President Abayomi Bickersteth.
This corps which was constituted by the District Educational and Welfare Endowment Fund (DEWEF) Board of Trustees led by the Chairman, Past District Governor Olawale Cole, will have its Zonal leaders announced by the Board at a later date.
The Corps is also open to new members who will also undergo the safety trainings organized by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) that the pioneer members have undergone in order to be qualified.
