The items were officially presented to the beneficiaries on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the Rotary Centre in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
The donation exercise was carried out by the District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI alongside the Wheel Chair Donation Committee Chairman, Sanjeev Tandon. Also present was Past District Governor Dr. Deinde Shoga who was the special guest speaker, other members of the committee, as well as Rotarians from the Rotary clubs that partnered with the district on the donation.
The beneficiaries who were accompanied to the venue by their families and friends expressed their gratitude to the club for the huge support.
30 wheel chairs and other walking aids which include 39 arm crutches, 10 elbow crutches, and 40 walking sticks were donated to the beneficiaries.
