No fewer than ten persons have benefited from the Jaipur limbs donation project by Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria.
 
The Jaipur limbs donation project which started in the district years ago is a platform specially created by the district to support people without limbs in the community and several people have benefited from the project since inception.
 
 
“We thank God for the gift of life and this prosthetic limbs technology. What has happened, has happened no matter the circumstances surrounding it, it is the future that mnatters, that is why we are contributing our quota to support you”, DG Sodipo.
This is the second phase of the project this Rotary year which started on July 1, 2018 under the leadership of the Inspiration District Governor, Kola Sodipo and this time, a new set of ten beneficiaries received free prosthetic limbs, two of which was carried out at the Rotary Centre by DG Sodipo at the Rotary Centre on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.
 
The District Governor, while addressing the beneficiaries during the donation exercise said,  “We thank God for the gift of life and this prosthetic limbs technology. What has happened, has happened no matter the circumstances surrounding it, it is the future that matters, that is why we are contributing our quota to support you.”
 
Some other district leaders, Chairman of the Jaipur Limb Donation Committee, Sulyman Adewunmi, as well as Balogun Ebenezer from Jaipur Prosthetic Centre were also present.
 
The two beneficiaries, Otisi Ndukwo and Edo Amaka Peter expressed their gratitude to the club for making them part of the beneficiaries of such huge project.
