The District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson, FCAI on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 stormed the Home of Destitute, Okobaba in Ebute Metta, Lagos state with food items to celebrate the festive season with them.
The home which houses blinds, lepers, as well as the handicapped was full as usual when the Imaginative District Governor arrived alongside the Chairman, District We Care Committee, Past President Titi Sunmonu, accompanied by a member of the committee, Rotarian Adeyemi Fetuga as well as the Special Assistant to the DG, Assistant Governor Valentine Shomoye to distribute the food items which include garri and rice to the occupants of the home in the spirit of the season.
The food items were distributed to all the three categories of occupants in the home, both men and women.
The DG, while addressing the beneficiaries, noted that this gesture by the Rotary district is to make them feel loved and not left out of the celebration mood that comes with the festivity.
