Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria has just been awarded “Highest Giving District to Polio Fund (Africa Region 2019 - 20)” by Sir Emeka Offor Foundation.
Rotary Club of Ogudu GRA, one of the Rotary clubs in the District was also awarded “Highest Giving Rotary Club (Africa Region 2019 - 20)” by the foundation.
Sir Emeka Offor Foundation also donated $5, 000 each to the polio fund of Rotary District 9110 and Rotary Club of Ogudu GRA.

It is no longer news that the Africa region was on Tuesday, August 25 certified polio-free by World Health Organization after three years of zero case of polio in the continent.
This award shows the recognition of the
district’s tireless efforts towards
achieving a polio-free Africa.
