Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria and Rotary Club of Falomo- one of the clubs under the umbrella of the district, have jointly donated medical equipment and drugs to Badore Primary Health Centre in Eti Osa (East) Local Council development Area (LCDA), Lagos state.
 
The District Governor, Kola Sodipo, while handing over the items to the centre alongside the club president, Ndubuisi Okaro on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, noted that the project is one of the many major health related projects the district has decided to execute in collaboration with its various Rotary clubs this Rotary year.
 
He however congratulated the management of the centre and asked them to ensure that the items donated serve the purpose they are meant for and also to ensure proper use and maintenance of the equipment.
The LCDA Secretary, Sanni Saheed who represented the Executive Chairman of the LCDA, appreciated the club in his speech adding that “Rotary club has been known to our people as a non-governmental organization that add value to our society.”

The Medical Officer of Health for the LCDA, Dr. Ariyibi Temitope also appreciated the club. “We really do appreciate this and am happy that this is happening in my time. We want to ask for more. We don’t have a water borehole facility here so we will be even more delighted if the club can provide that for us”, she said.
 
Also present at the donation ceremony were members of the club, some district leaders and Rotarians, as well as the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics with the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, Dr. Balogun Temitope who represented the Permanent Secretary.
