Rotary Club of Yaba Courteville on Friday, March 10, 2023 unveiled the newly renovated school building in Aje comprehensive junior high school in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.
 
The club led by Imaginative President Kenneth Onuorah repainted the entire school building, repaired cracked walls, replaced dilapidated PVC ceiling, and also replaced bad white board. Witnessing the unveiling were members of the District Governors team- District Secretary Azuh Arinze and the Chief of Staff to the DG, Segun Adewakun representing District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI.
 
 
 
Thereafter, the club members led the Imaginative District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI who was on her official visit to the club with her team on a courtesy visit to the office of the Group Managing Director of the club's host company- Courteville Business Solutions, Dr. Adebola Akindele.  Also present was the Assistant Governor to the club, Charles Okonkwo.

Rotary Club of Yaba Courteville and Rotary Club of Surulere Western Avenue jointly received District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI on her official visit to the clubs. Present were members of the two clubs led by Imaginative President Onuorah Kenneth and Imaginative President Adewunmi Ogundeyi respectively as well as the Assistant Governors to the two clubs, AG Charles Okonkwo and AG Kate Wilkie.
 
During the joint fellowship which held following the joint board meeting, the club presented an award to the DG in recognition of her efforts in leading the district this “Imagine Rotary” year. The president of Rotary Club of Yaba Courteville was also presented an award by the Chairman of the Multi Club Planning Committee, Past Assistant Governor Segun Adewakun who is also the Chief of Staff to the DG in appreciation of his financial contribution towards the success of the Multi Club Training Seminar this Rotary year.
 
A Past President of the club who is also an Assistant District Secretary, Wale Abdul was also presented an award by the club for his immense contribution towards the growth of the club over the years. Two new female Rotarians were also inducted into Rotary Club of Yaba Courteville by the DG.
