Rotary Club of Ota Donates to Less-privileged Children
October indeed started on a joyous note for children in Ijamido Children’s Home, Ota in Ogun State as the club stormed the home on Saturday, October 1, 2022 with food stuffs and toiletries which were presented to the home administrators.
Also present were Rotaractors of Rotaract Club of Ota including the District Rotaract Representative Afolabi Abdullahi
This is not the first time the home which houses motherless children, orphans, abandoned children, less privileged and the likes will receive such donations from the club. The club has made it a point of duty to visit the home with donations during the official visit of the District Governor to the club every Rotary year.
This Rotary year, Imaginative District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI joined the Imaginative President, Rotarian Jimoh Alade and other members of the club to witness the donation exercise.
The club also commissioned the toilet and water facility renovated by the club in Zion Methodist School, Ota.
The club further empowered 20 indigent women in the community with a total sum of N1, 000, 000 at N50, 000 which was also presented to the beneficiaries by the DG on behalf of the club.
