It was home-coming for District Governor Bola Oyebade as he officially visits his club- Rotary Club of Maryland, alongside his wife, Linda on Tuesday, July 14.
 
 
The Club President, Obafemi Obadina and other members of the club leveraged on the visit of  DG Oyebade who is one of their own to execute multiple projects ranging from Covid-19 prevention project to tree planting project, to water and sanitation project.
 
The visit started with the donation of a foot-operated hand washing machine with soap, water, and sanitizer dispenser Command Day Secondary School, Ikeja. The equipment was officially received by the School Commandant, Major Olalekan Bamiteko.
 
 
The club also donated some customized face protective shield, face masks, and hand sanitizers to the school, and also carried out some tree planting activities in the school to mark the "Tree Planting Day".
 
Next was donation of delivery kits which includes hand sanitizers and face masks to expectant mothers in Onigbongbo Health Centre in Maryland Ikeja, Lagos.
 
 
The final project execution for the day was the commissioning of a newly renovated toilet and water facilities which were originally constructed by the club four years ago at Onigbongbo market in Maryland Ikeja, Lagos sate.
