The Rotary Club of Isolo on Friday, August 14 reached out to members of Isolo community in different areas ranging from financial support to widows, free prostrate cancer screening for men, free eye screening, youths empowerment, and donation to school.
 
The Club President, David Olaniyi and other members of the club leveraged on the official visit of the District Governor, Bola Oyebade to the club to execute the multiple projects as they led the DG from one project site to the other. 
 
 
 
The free prostrate cancer was carried out in Collaboration with the District Prostrate Cancer Committee led by the Chairman, Sola Benson during which over 70 men were screened.
 
 
 
The club also organized free eye screening for members of the community and treated eye glasses were distributed to the beneficiaries for free.
 
 
40 indigent widows in the community were supported by the club with the sum of N20, 000 each.
 
 
 
Hand-wash equipment was donated by the club to Ansar-ud-deen College in Isolo, Lagos.

Six indigent youths in the community were empowered with three sewing machines, one deep freezer, one hair dryer, and an hair dressing set. Four new Rotarians were also inducted into the club.
 
 
Also present were Past District Governor Olawale Cole who is also a member of the club, the Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka and members of the Inner Wheel Club of Isolo led by the President, Inner Wheel Member Abiola Opeifa.
