The club, under the leadership of the United President Lookman Olajide, offered free eye screening with correction eye glasses. The club, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Isolo Metropolitan, also offered free Hepatitis A, B, and C screening for the public.

In addition, the club renovated the physiotherapy building in Isolo General Hospital which was originally built by the club in 1986-1987 Rotary year. The club went further to donate office desks, chairs, television and Gotv set to Ire Akari Estate Police Post.

The heights of the projects executed by the club was the foundation laying ceremony of a block of toilets which is being built by the club in Ilamoye Junior Secondary School in Isolo during which the students and members of staff led by the School Principal, Mrs Preh O. O.

All these were carried out during the official visit of the District Governor, Jide Akeredolu to the club on Friday, August 9, 2019. The club members, upon receiving the District Governor, led him on a courtesy visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Alani Kolawole Adelaja Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo before proceeding to commissioning of the projects.

The club president, at the palace, highlighted the club’s lined-up projects for the day. Also present at the palace is Past District Governor Michael Olawale-Cole who is also a member of the club.

DG Akeredolu, while addressing the king said, “It’s quite impressive the amount of work the club has been doing in this community. I am quite happy with the array of projects they have lined up for this community this Rotary year. I am also happy that you are always there to advise them whenever they come to you so we are here to pay homage and ask for your blessings before proceeding with our projects commissioning.”

The king, while responding to the DG said, “They have told me the projects they are commissioning most especially the new toilet in Ilamoye Junior Secondary School. It is very good because the condition of most of these schools has been forgotten by the government. Before this club president, past presidents have been doing these things.

“They do these things every year. In fact, sometimes two times in a year, we hear that Rotary Club of Isolo is doing one thing or the other. Either free medicals or other things, for the benefit of the community. If we go inside the General Hospital, you will see a lot of things donated by the club”, he said.

The king further said, “They have done a lot of things, they have spent a lot of money. In fact, what the club is doing, even the local government cannot do it alone. If not for your club and other clubs that is complementing their efforts.”

Also present at the palace were some of the community chiefs; Chief Bada of Isolo, the Baale of Ilasa, the Otunba of Isolo, and the Oba Akin of Isolo.

The club members were also supported by members of the Inner Wheel Club of Isolo led by the president, Inner Wheel Member Dawodu Ronke who were present all through the day’s events.
Two new members were inducted into the club by the DG during the club fellowship.
