Rotary Club of Ikeja Alausa Central led by the Imaginative President, Rotarian Adebukunola Soile-Balogun has provided a water borehole facility for Olowora Nursery and Primary School in Olowora, Lagos state.
 
The water facility was commissioned by the District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI during her official visit to the club today.
Present alongside the DG were district leaders including the Assistant Governor to the club, Rotarian Mufutau Adelotan, the club president, and other members of the club which has impacted a lot of lives in its less than two years of existence.
 
 
 
Also present was the outgoing Head Teacher, Mr Adeniji Samuel Abayomi who worked together with members of the club from the onset while still in office as the Head Teacher of the school to ensure the success of the project.
 
The facility was handed over to the two Assistant Head Teachers of the school, Mrs Okeowo, Y. M. and Mrs Owolabi L. F. They will ensure it is properly managed pending when the new Head Teacher will assume office.
 
 
 
 
The club also specially celebrated the Head Teacher of the school, Mr Adeniji Samuel Abayomi on his retirement as the Head Teacher of the school.
The outgoing Head Teacher expressed his appreciation to the club for celebrating him. He also thanked the club for the water facility which he said will further provide a conducive learning and teaching environment for both the students and the teachers.
