Rotary Club of Gbagada South is contributing towards the growth of education in Nigeria, the recent donation of  8 desktop computers to CMS Grammar School, Bariga in Lagos state is just one of the many ways the club has helped to improve the standards of learning in the state.
 
 
With technological advancements, computer studies in schools are paramount for the development of any nation. "No child should be deprived formal education as a result of financial constraint", the Club President said, noting that the club has decided to assist students of CMS Grammar School by providing them with computers with which they can be taught at least in school.
 
Present at the donation exercise was the District Governor, Bola Oyebade who was on his official visit to the club, some members of the club, as well as the School Principal, Reverend Sofekun Olubusola, and some other staff members of the school.
 
 
Also present at the donation exercise was a Representative of the Permanent Secreatry, Education District II who expressed her gratitude to the club saying, "When people say you touch lives, I say it's true because I am a witness. I was there when you donated to Ifako Comprehensive High School and many others. I say a big thank you to you. For some of you that may be old students of this school, it's not a big deal but for you to have it in mind to come back and do this for students of this school is a great deal."
 
 
The club also granted a micro credit of N1million to Ososa market men and women, the micro credit scheme being an annual project of the club which started many years ago with the sum of N50, 000 and has grown to N1million over the years.
 
The club also led the District Governor to Oworonsoki Group of schools where some trees were planted within the school premises. To witness the tree planting exercise was the Chairman, District Planet Earth and Tree Planting Committee, Jellily Efedi.
