Elizabeth Ng’ang’a, The Rotary Foundation Funds Development Analyst met with Rotarians in Rotary International, District 9110 on Thursday, 6th of April, 2023.
The meeting was held following the just concluded Rotary Peace Activators Training held between Saturday, 1st of April and Monday, 3rd of April at Eko Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
During the meeting, all donors to The Rotary Foundation, ranging from Arch Klumph Society members, Major Donors, Paul Harris Fellows, among other donors were all recognized in-person and virtually.
Rotarian Ng’ang’a congratulated the District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI and Rotarians in the district at large for their immense contribution to the Foundation, while encouraging them not to relent in their contributions to the Foundation which is highly commendable.
Rotarian Ng’ang’a who was taken on a tour around the District 9110 Rotary Centre was wowed with the facility which has quite a sizable number of staff working there. One of the staff at the Rotary Centre, Mrs Helen Ibeka who manages all affairs concerning The Rotary Foundation in the centre was also recognized and appreciated with a gift for her hard work and ensuring smooth management of the funds as they are being donated.
