What used to be known as "Peace Park" has just been renamed "Past District Governor Julius Adelusi Adeluyi Peace Park".
The park was renamed in honour of PDG Adelusi-Adeluyi who was District Governor of Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria in the year 1982 - 1983 as he clocks 80.
The park which is situated at the Rotary Centre in Ikeja, Lagos state was also remodeled and beautified by Rotary Club of Canal Estate and Rotary Club of Anthony Golden, in Collaboration with the District Planet Earth and Tree Planting Committee. Some trees and flowers were however planted to add beauty to the garden.
The park was commissioned on Friday, July 31 by District Governor Bola Oyebade who also participated in the tree planting exercise that was carried out in the garden.
