The grand finale of the Annual Inter-school Quiz competition for secondary schools held on Friday, November 18, 2022.
The competition was organized by a collaboration of 9 Rotary clubs in the district namely: Rotary Club of Gbagada, Rotary Club of Gbagada South, Rotary Club of Onigbongbo, Rotary Club of Ewutuntun, Rotary Club of Ikorodu Metro, Rotary Club of Owutu-Isawo, Rotary Club of Ikorodu Golden, Rotary Club of Shomolu, and Rotary Club of Ikate in partnership with Lagos State Ministry of Education, District II.
The first phase of the competition which was carried out months back had 56 schools in Lagos state in participation among with the top 10 schools emerged. The top ten winners were then invited to the Rotary Centre in Ikeja, Lagos for the grand finale during which the top three schools emerged as the overall winners.
Lanre Awolokun Senior High School emerged first position, Kosofe Senior High School emerged second position, while Ogudu Senior Grammar School emerged the third position.
The winners carted away mouth-watering prices while Rotary-branded exercise books were also presented to all the students from the various schools that participated.
