District Governor, Rotary District 9110, Nigeria, Rotarian Dr. Adewale Ogunbadejo, has joined the Rotary family to mourn the demise of late Rotarian Rosemary Agbochenu, the Past President of Rotary Club of Maryland.
The District Governor paid tribute to the “wonderful Rotarian” for her services to humanity in a message to all Rotarians across the District pasted below:
With heavy heart but total submission to the will of God, we write to announce the sudden demise of our wonderful Rotarian PAST PRESIDENT, ROSEMARY AGBOCHENU which sad event occurred on Saturday, 30thSeptember, 2017.
Until her death, she was a very active Rotarian both at the Club and the District Level. She served as the 11th President and the 1st Female President of the Rotary Club of Maryland in 2012-2013 Rotary year and Chair, District Youth Exchange Committee for 2017-2018 Rotary Year.
We pray that Almighty God in His infinite mercies grant her family and entire Rotarians in District 9110 the courage, fortitude and large heart to bear this great loss.
The burial arrangements will be communicated to you as soon as the District is notified.
May her soul enjoy a smooth ascent to the bosom of God.( Amen.)
