The club also led the Imaginative DG and her team to the club’s cervical cancer centre building which is under construction at Isolo General Hospital. The cervical cancer centre was the initiative of the Immediate Past President of the club, Rotarian Raji Tejumola-Taiwo during her year as president of the club.

The building project has been inherited by the current president who hopes to complete and commission it this Rotary year as funds are being raised. He instantly donated a sum of N2million towards that end.

While the Inner wheel club sponsored four ladies, two in fashion design and two in hairdressing skill acquisition, the Rotaract club sponsored two boys in barbing skill acquisition. The Rotary Club then complemented their both efforts with donating 2 hair dressing machines, 2 sewing machines, and two sets of barbing tools for the six beneficiaries.
