Imaginative District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI on Thursday, July 28 joined members of Rotary Club of Abeokuta to plant trees in Abeokuta, Ogun state in honor of Rotarian Kunle Adeyanju, the acclaimed biker who is being celebrated for his courageous and historic journey from London to Lagos on a motorbike.
The biker who is currently the Imaginative President of Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metropolitan was received by Nigeria’s former president, Olusegun Obasanjo and the Alake of Egba Land the day before.
As part of the activities lined up for DG Lawson and Rotarian Adeyanju’s visit to Abeokuta as well as to fulfill Rotary’s seventh area of focus- “Supporting the Environment”, the tree planting exercise was organized by Rotary Club of Abeokuta in CAC Primary School, Lantoro, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
