Not less than 30 secondary school students have gotten scholarships from Rotary Club of Amuwo
 
The club, during the official visit of Imaginative District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI presented the scholarships which is worth 600, 000 to the students.
 
 
 
 
 
This is not the first time the club will carry out similar scholarship project, but this time, the club under the leadership of Imaginative President Goni Zakari took it a level higher by reaching as much as 30 beneficiaries from different secondary schools in the community
 
The DG also witnessed the first joint project to be executed by clubs assigned to a cluster this Rotary year.
 
The club cluster initiative was introduced by the District Governor with the aim of promoting synergy and growth among the clubs in the district. The DG believes that grouping the clubs to work together as a cluster will enable weaker clubs tap from the strength and knowledge of the stronger clubs in their cluster Each cluster is led by a one of the strong clubs in the cluster.
 
 
 
 
Clubs in zone seven, cluster one led by Imaginative President Goni Zakari who also happens to be the Captain of all the Imaginative Presidents in the district subscribed a one year fully covered health insurance scheme to three indigent families and also empowered three polio survivors with funds.
 
The DG expressed her joy and satisfaction that her motive behind initiating the club cluster is materialising. She urged the other clusters in the district to follow suit and execute even bigger joint projects.
