Past District Governor Bola Oyebade, on Sunday, October 23rd flagged-off the 2022 Rotary Family Health Days following the district’s “Walk Against Polio” for Lagos Mainland Zone.
 
The RFHA National Co-ordinator flagged-off the 3-day event which is expected to last until Wednesday, October 26 at the Rotary Centre in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
 
During this period, Rotary clubs as well as volunteer organizations will carry out several tests ranging from malaria test, HIV test, prostate cancer test, among others at their various selected sites.
 
 
 
Malaria tablets for adults and children, insecticide treated nets, sanitary pads are just a few of the items that will be given out to patients.
The team was welcomed to the Rotary Centre by District Governor Omotunde Lawson, FCAI.
 
The team comprises Susan Paget, RFHA CEO; Andre Thompson, Bill and Melinda Gates Program Coordinator; Elyjoy Kankua, RFHA Measurement and Evaluation, as well as PDG Jide Akeredolu, RFHA Director.
 
 
Also present was Past President Margret Olowu, spouse of late Past District Governor Olugbemiga Olowu who was presented with a posthumous award for his efforts as one of the pioneers of RFHA in Nigeria during his lifetime.
