Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria has officially unveiled the 2019 - 20 District Governor`s team.
The other members of the team that will work closely with the Incoming District Governor in the 2019 – 20 Rotary year include the Incoming District Secretary; Incoming District Treasurer, Olaitan Ojuroye; Incoming Chief of Staff, Tonia Taiwo; Incoming Special Assistant to the DG, Kunle Adeniran; and Incoming Special Assistant to the DG on IT, Debo Adebayo.
The seven man team which includes the District Governor Elect, Jide Akeredolu and his spouse Tokunbo, was officially unveiled at the recently concluded 2019 District Team Training Assembly held at Orchid Hotel in Lekki, Lagos state.
The District Governor Elect who was officially introduced by the Incoming District Secretary, Afelogun Idowu alongside his wife, Tokunbo on the first day of the two-day seminar, presented the other members of his team to the attendees.

The seminar which held on Friday, February 8 to Saturday, February 9 was called to order by the District Governor, Kola Sodipo who was present at the seminar with his wife, Inner Wheel Member Nike. Thereafter, DGE Akeredolu presented the 2019 - 20 Rotary International Theme - "Rotary Connects the World" to the participants.

The seminar was well attended by district Rotarians that will serve the district in the coming Rotary year. Participants were trained by Past District Governors and seasoned Rotarians. A representative of Leadway Assurance Company was also present to speak with the participants on "Insurance and You".
The training which was organized by the planning committee, led by Coordinator, Niyi Adesanya, covered all areas of activities in Rotary ranging from public image, to service projects, to membership, to The Rotary Foundation, among other areas. Participants and guests were also thrilled to a fun filled Friday cocktail. A team of Rotarians from District 7670, North Carolina in the United States of America who were on a Friendship exchange visit to the district also attended the cocktail event.
